How IMAGI-NATION was built

Hey yo,

We get it…IMAGI-NATION might sound a bit out there, but don’t worry, think of us as a big, friendly network, working together to nurture our planet and each other.

You’ve probably noticed that, as a species, we’ve made a bit of a mess on Earth. Big time. But we believe that if humans can create these problems, humans can also solve them. And that’s where IMAGI-NATION comes in—a collective effort to tackle the world’s challenges through imagination, knowledge and genuine relations.

We’re not just another app or platform; we’re a digital NATION. A place where people from all walks of life come together to share ideas, mentor each other, and work on projects that make a real difference. We’re not big fans of traditional social media, but we stay connected through our own channels and regular updates.

Hundreds of us are already part of this movement, and we’d love for you to join us. Together, we can reimagine and reshape our world.

For now - spend a bit of time digging into how this thing got made…and maybe…just maybe you will find a way to walk through to the door and join us in IMAGI-NATION.

How IMAGI-NATION was built

From our humble beginnings in 2005 to the launch of IMAGI-NATION this year, AIME has been on a pretty wild journey.

Our mission to create educational equity and empower Indigenous youth has driven us to innovate and adapt, even in the face of global challenges.

As we look towards the future, IMAGI-NATION represents the next chapter in our story—a digital nation built on the foundation of Indigenous knowledge and the power of mentorship.

Today, we'll dive deeper into the concept and history behind IMAGI-NATION, exploring how this virtual world got to the point of a network of networks ready to tackle global issues head-on.
