From Waste to Energy

Celeste Tesoriero, Shyaka Farid Lwanyaaga & Mathew Stokes

SCR 1 - JUNE 2024

At its core, ReclAIMEd is about reclaiming and repurposing, whether it's materials, spaces, or even narratives. It goes beyond simple reuse, seeking to uncover the hidden potential in what has been discarded or overlooked and transform it into something regenerative and meaningful. This approach aligns seamlessly with the Lab’s focus on systemic change, as it challenges entrenched systems and conventional ways of thinking, offering alternative models for sustainable living, creative innovation, and community engagement. By combining practical action with imaginative solutions, ReclAIMEd demonstrates how transformation can begin at both the individual and systemic levels, showing that what we reclaim today can shape a more resilient, equitable, and vibrant tomorrow.
